Trump Explained

Trump Explained

“Trump Explained” will give you a fresh understanding of the man behind the movement that has destabilized the Western world, and the hidden currents unleashed by his presidency. With his unique blend of humor and seriousness, this book is as entertaining as it is informative. With his first book, “Our Man in Washington,” Hans D. Hauge established himself in Norway as one of the most entertaining, original, and insightful experts on American politics. In “Trump Explained,” the former Congressional Chief of Staff explores the complex landscape surrounding one of the most controversial political figures in modern American history, and attempts to foresee the possible and impossible consequences of what appears to most people to be a catastrophic scenario: four more years of Trump as president. From memorable weddings in Kentucky to the heated political battles on Capitol Hill, Hauge shows us how Trump’s unorthodox style has shaken American public opinion and the political establishment in the United States. He asks: “How much should we fear four more years of Trump?” He answers with insightful perspectives stemming from his close interactions with some of the most influential figures in the country. The result is not merely an exploration of Trump-era politics, but also a reflection on the foundations of American democracy and its future.
