Byung-Chol Han, born in 1959 in Seoul, studied in Freiburg and Munich. He held the position of Professor of Philosophy and Cultural Studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin. His books have been translated into several languages. In Italy, Notempo published his following works: “The Society of Weariness” (2012), “Eros in Torment” (2013), “The Society of Transparency” (2014), and “In the Swarm”.
