Dr. Clemens Alexander Wimmer is undoubtedly one of the foremost German-speaking garden historians and gardeners of our time. He is the author of several important publications on the history and protection of parks. Among his completed projects is the reconstruction of the gardens of the Palais Messeberg and the island of Louise in the garden of the Palais Charlottenburg. Since 1990, he is a volunteer at the German Horticultural Library.
