Tabish Khair (www.tabishkhair.co.uk) is a poet, novelist, journalist and researcher, born in Ranchi and educated in Gaya, Bihar. He worked for The Times of India (Patna, then Delhi bureau) and later obtained a PhD from the University of Copenhagen and a PhD in Philosophy from Aarhus University, Denmark, where he now teaches.
