Nima Rokem is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Middle Eastern Studies, and Chair of the Department of Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago. She also served as faculty director of the Joyce Z. and Jacob Greenberg Center for Jewish Studies. She is the author of the book “Prose Circumstances: Heinrich Heine and the Spaces of Zionist Literature”.
