Hans Christian Hoeneß, born in 1986, received his PhD from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, has conducted research at the Warburg Institute in London, and has been teaching art history at the University of Aberdeen since 2020. His work focuses on art history and art theory since the 18th century, and he has published, among other works, a book on Heinrich Wölfflin.
