Invited to manage the archives documenting Nikkei fishermen, she has produced two books: Nikkei Fishermen on the BC Coast: Their Biographies and Photographs (2007) and The Spirit of the Nikkei Fleet: BC’s Japanese Canadian Fishermen (2009).
