Prof. Ibrahim Awad is Professor of Literary Criticism and English Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University. He is a prominent Islamic critic and thinker, best known for his efforts in responding to Orientalists and defending Islam.
One of his most prominent academic stations: He graduated from Cairo University (1970) and received his doctorate from Oxford University in Britain in 1982.He worked as a professor of literature, modern criticism, comparative literature, and Islamic studies, with more than 200 authors, the most prominent of which are: The Battle of Pre-Islamic Poetry between Al-Rafi 'i, Taha Hussein, Orientalists and the Qur 'an, Al-Mutanabbi..
