Robert Fisk

Robert Fisk was a best-selling author and Middle East correspondent for The Independent. He lived in the Middle East for four decades and was Britain's most decorated foreign correspondent. His book The Great War for Civilization, which chronicles his career and the many conflicts he covered, was published internationally and received wide critical acclaim. He is also the author of the books “What a Pity for the Nation” and “The Age of the Warrior.”
