Against dark enlightenment

ضد التنوير المظلم

Not Translated

Thinking about the future of humanity in the face of digital aristocracy.

“The end of a rules-based world.” This is how our era has been described. The rule of law is weakening, and a new technological elite declares that it is time to move beyond democracy, and even the humanitarian condition. Is this the final collapse of the Enlightenment project, or its last chance? In this book, Carlos Fernández Liria analyzes the rise of transhumanism and the trend that proposes, from Silicon Valley to the centers of power, to replace the rule of law with corporate sovereignty, citizenship with consumer logic, and equality with a technological aristocracy.

Donald Trump, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, techno-feudalism, and network states all shape this new horizon.
