Nils Heisterhagen Born in 1988, he holds a PhD in philosophy and is a writer and journalist. He has served as a political advisor to the Social Democratic Party’s parliamentary group in Rhineland-Palatinate and as a speechwriter and political advisor to the last two presidents of the IG Metall metalworkers’ union. His works published by Dietz include: \Responsibility: For a New Political Sense in Times of Change\ (2020), \The Quest for Freedom: Essays Against the Wilderness\ (2019), and \The Liberal Illusion: Why We Need Left-Wing Realism\ (2018). Heisterhagen lives in Berlin.
