#### A gripping and well-written thriller that blends real events and fiction in a way that makes the story both believable and compelling.

Sigrid Mellen is working undercover at the Danish embassy in Beirut when she detects a suspicious traveler en route to Copenhagen. The man turns out to be a terrorist planning attacks on Danish and German soil, and Sigrid, along with her Berlin-based colleague, Agent Felix Zobel, must infiltrate and expose the terrorist organization. When Sigrid's investigation points to a Danish ISIS fighter, the BET (British Security Service) abruptly drops the case. The man is one of their agents; it was a false alarm. However, Sigrid is not convinced by this explanation. Sigrid is forced to seek help from her estranged father, Carl-Ross, from whom she lost contact when she was young. Carl is now the new Minister of Justice and is willing to help. But at the same time, a historic refugee crisis erupts in Europe. According to intelligence services, there are jihadists among the refugees heading to Denmark, placing Carl Rosa in a daunting situation. Convinced that more attacks are imminent, Sigrid and Felix embark on separate paths to stop the terrorists, unaware that they are not the only ones searching for the Danish agent.
