Agenda publishes academic books for students and lecturers, as well as the interested general reader. We publish in politics, economics, philosophy, human geography and sustainability.
We published our first book in 2016 and our 100th in 2021. Our first books placed the economy at the centre of our publishing. As our list has developed it has taken us into allied subjects and areas, ones which offer further understanding of the workings of the economic system but also the challenges that it presents for the world and how we live our lives.
Independently owned and with offices in Newcastle upon Tyne, we publish between 30 and 40 new books each year.
