Chronicle Books is a San Francisco-based independent publishing house that has been in the publishing business since the Summer of Love. We draw our creativity from the timeless magic of books and our passion to inspire others. We believe in collaborating with artists, writers, and organizations that represent the diversity of our world, and are committed to an inclusive corporate culture that respects and supports individuals of diverse backgrounds and opinions.Once you hold our prints, we want you to know that they are from us. We pay close attention to every detail, asking ourselves questions like: Does the design support and enhance the content? How does it feel in your hands? What special touches can we add to make it a masterpiece to cherish? We apply this approach to everything we make, whether it's a book, notebook, game, e-book, or even our latest innovation.Our headquarters are located in San Francisco, in an old marine mechanical shop and warehouse. It consists of four floors: a sales, marketing and operations floor, an editorial and contracts floor, a design and production floor, and a meeting room that brings us all together. There is also a store you can visit.
