Hidden Enemies – How conformity and selfishness poison our thinking. Self-centeredness and logical fallacies – a danger to society.
Break faulty thinking patterns for more freedom, genuine connection, and better decision-making.
A colleague gets a promotion, and their partner goes on a solo vacation. But instead of feeling empathy and happiness for them, all one thinks is: What about me? Where do I fit in? Formal philosophy professor Vincent V. Hendrix explores how selfishness and groupthink affect the individual and society. Using concepts from game theory, behavioral economics, and moral philosophy, he reveals how we can change our behavior and what we stand to gain from it!
