Ian Lilburne has worked in the arts industry in Western Australia for the past 30 years. The original director of the Artrage Festival (now Fringe World), he is now a freelance event producer/project manager/artistic director running his own production company, Aeon Songs. An articulate and meticulous producer with strong financial, marketing, communication, public relations and organisational skills, Ian joined the board of Fremantle Press in 2013 and became chair in 2014

Felicity Ruse arrived from the UK in 1976 with a background in real estate. Over the past 30 years, she has run two successful business enterprises. Felicity joined the board of Fremantle Press in 2013 and brings a wealth of day-to-day small business decision-making experience.

Bill Chambers is a Chartered Accountant who operates his own accounting practice. He has had considerable experience with not-for-profit organisations including board roles at Trinity – a Uniting Church residential college at the University of Western Australia – and Men of the Trees Inc.

Annie Fogarty is co-founder and executive chairperson of the Fogarty Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation providing education programs in Western Australia. She is involved in a number of boards and committees including the Board of Roseworth Primary School, the Advisory Groups for the Centre for Social Impact, and the ECU Fogarty Learning Centre. Annie was appointed an inaugural ambassador for children and young people and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2013 for her work in the advancement of education in Western Australia. She has received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Western Australia and an Honorary Doctorate of Education from Edith Cowan University.

Colin Campbell-Fraser is a graduate of the University of Western Australia, with extensive knowledge and experience as a professional in communications and marketing in both the private and the public sectors. A former senior newspaper journalist he spent eight years with the WA State Government as media and policy adviser to various ministers and premiers. Following three years with ABC Radio as a producer of morning current affairs, he joined UWA in 1996 as director of public affairs, and in 2008 was appointed principal adviser external relations and advocacy to UWA’s vice-chancellor and senior executive. He now consults as an adviser and mentor to organisations, institutions and individuals

Greg Dobson has worked in professional services for over 15 years. He is a partner of Ernst & Young, specialising in government and infrastructure projects and transactions, and has worked in London, Sydney and Perth. Greg brings a strong commercial acumen and a background in business strategy and financial advice.

Jane Fraser has worked in trade and education publishing for over 20 years. Following five years in San Francisco with an international co-editions publishing company she moved back to her hometown of Sydney, then to Perth where she worked in corporate marketing and communications. She joined Fremantle Press in 2008 as non-fiction publisher and has been CEO since 2010 with a portfolio that includes sales and custom publishing.

Georgia Richter has a BA (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and an MA (Creative Writing) from the University of Western Australia. She has taught creative writing, professional writing and editing at the universities of Melbourne, Western Australia and Curtin. She has been with Fremantle Press since 2008. Georgia is fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry publisher, and an IPEd Accredited Editor.

Cate Sutherland originally trained and worked as a solicitor before moving into publishing at University of Western Australia Press. In 1997 she coordinated the Perth Writers Festival. She then took up a position as production and publishing coordinator at Fremantle Press. In 2006 she was appointed publisher of children’s and young adult books.

Wendy Jenkins has been an editor with Fremantle Press for several decades (poetry, fiction, non-fiction) and now works principally as an assessment editor. Books she has edited have won major national and international awards including the Miles Franklin and the Commonwealth Poetry Prize. She is author of two poetry collections and four novels for younger readers and is a past member of the Literature Board of the Australia Council.

Naama Grey-Smith joined Fremantle Press in 2010, and in 2015 was appointed senior editor. She has edited award-winning fiction and non-fiction and writes for Australian Book Review. She speaks three languages, has degrees in communications and publishing, and is completing a PhD in creative writing at Curtin University.

Cathy Szabo worked as a library technician at the State Library of Western Australia before taking a 17-year break to raise her two daughters. Cathy has been the customer service manager at Fremantle Press since 2005.
