Didier-Georges Gabily

French playwright, theater director, and novelist (Saumur 1955 - Paris 1996). He began his life as an actor in Tours and Paris, wrote his first plays and directed his first productions between 1981 and 1983, then founded his own troupe, the T’Chan’G Group, in 1989. He directed his own scripts and developed a physical, violent and tragic style of acting, which the actors – brought together by a theatrical practice partly inspired by the theories of Antonin Artaud – explored in depth.…
