Dust... God created most people to live in hell.
الغبار... خلق الله معظم الناس ليعيشوا في الجحيم.
Odd Singsaker has long since settled into retirement, spending most of his time in his new cottage in Opdal. He finds happiness in the company of his daughter, Anne, and his dog, Snowsen. Now, his partner, Felicia, takes over the task of going to Singsaker's old workplace, the Trondheim police station, every morning.
The harmony is shattered when a neighboring cottage catches fire, a sight Singsaker witnesses helplessly. After the blaze, the bodies of the cottage's occupants, a small family of three, are discovered. Most evidence points to the police investigating a case of a father who murdered his family and then committed suicide. However, Singsaker has his suspicions and begins his own investigation with the help of the free-spirited librarian, Siri Holm. This investigation leads them both into a labyrinth of dark desires, domination, submission, and pure evil.
"All Will Turn to Dust" is a crime novel about close relationships, excesses, and a patient but boundless killer.
