About Otto Lampe
Dr. Otto Lampe spent his diplomatic formative years in Brazil, Angola, Portugal and Italy. Then he made good use of the experience he gained there as the Chief of Protocol in Berlin and its representative to the United Nations. His most notable professional achievement was assuming the position of US Ambassador to Switzerland, the most distinguished position of his career. Since his retirement in 2017, he has been actively participating in diplomatic training in Berlin, where he works as a veteran diplomat.
