Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Publishing House is considered one of the most prominent and important independent Italian publishing houses. It was founded in the city of Milan in the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four by the activist and politician Giangacomo Feltrinelli, who wanted to create a cultural project that would contribute to changing society and spreading progressive and leftist ideas.
